When I was a teen I would sit with sketch pad and pens and paints and create for hours. In my twenties I continued within the parameters of young adulthood. In my thirties I abandoned such activities - not entirely, but for the most part - in favor of practical matters. Now, in this final year of my forties I resurrect it and it feels so good. So good.
And rightly so!!! Creative talent like yours should never be pushed to one side. Share your talent....I love the 'Love' card.

LOVE THIS!
ReplyDeletecute blog!
ReplyDeleteThe ideas are better when unimpeded by preconceived notions :)
ReplyDeletewow that's insightful-- i should definitely recollect to my past years and tap into my childhood to remember and reminisce on what it was like to be young, carefree and innocent. i feel as though i were sooo inspired then-- with my art and my writing, and sometimes i cannot help but to wonder-- where has it all gone?
ReplyDeleteby the way, i sent the card in the mail two days ago; should be there by monday or tuesday. i wanted to add an extra layer of topcoat to make it slightly sturdier. i must say, since they were from my first ever batch-- probably not the best hahaha but i guarantee you, for this upcoming freebie, they will definitely be a lottttt better ;)

I love your doodles - they are quite beautiful. It reminds me of kids and there hundreds of scetch pads. I hope they never lose that creative juice.

Those are pretty! I remember when I was younger, I used to make bracelets out of the cheap plastic beads my parents had bought me. I'm in my 20s now, and I still make bracelets, only I make my beads handmade from clay.
ReplyDeleteI love the roots for the flowers in your doodles. nice touch!
ReplyDeleteIt does feel great to take a little time to be creative each day.
