Fresh steps in the lawn, accompanied by the clover, violets and buttercups ...

… around the johnny-jump-ups and horseradish …
… over the garden hose …
… by the oregano …
… amid the strawberry blossoms …
… over the marshmallow ...

The angle gave me a little vertigo, and I'm sorry--those awesome boots are pink--but what a fun post! I like seeing what grows elsewhere--marshmallow! Love it. Can't grow it here.
ReplyDeleteSo sorry for facilitating your vertigo, JD … but glad you enjoyed seeing a few of things that grow around my little acre! You may not be able to grow marshmallow, and other New England greenies, but there are things YOU can grow that I can't. Makes life interesting, doesn't it? :)
ReplyDeleteI think rose-hued boots are most appropriate for you... :)
ReplyDeleteYou have a point, there, Nici! :)
ReplyDeleteLovely. Everything is getting so green!
ReplyDeletePink muck boots are the best. They are like flowers in all that greenery. Love the walks.
ReplyDeletei love your muck boots. mine are black with mauve & pink flowers VERY stylish. your garden is looking beautiful.
ReplyDeleteI dig them boots, Rosemari! They are too pretty to get dirty though! lol I loved this fun post...your garden looks lovely, so fresh and green :-)
ReplyDeleteSweet muck boots and a delightful garden tour :~) Thanks for posting!
ReplyDeleteIndeed, things are greening up nicely, even the trees! And with all this rain we're getting now, the greening is sure to accelerate!
ReplyDeleteCrunchy Dive ~ your boots sound fantastic! I was looking at some "fancier" models, but like the weight and arch support in these. I do love the selection we have nowadays! Used to be black, just black. :)
I dig these boots too, Jo-Ann … and (possibly, much to your dismay) I look forward to mucking them up!
Thanks for your sweet comments, one and all!
Good boots keep your feet dry. Pretty boots keep your soul singing.
ReplyDeleteI absolutely love how you did this post :)
ReplyDeleteAnd you are rocking those mauve boots! They're adorable :)
… dry … singing … rockin' …
ReplyDelete… sweet! :) Thank you, friends!
I love the photos and especially the Boots!!
ReplyDeleteThank you, Leta! :)
ReplyDeleteLove it - I should take my camera on my next bud walk - love walking the yard to see all the lastest blooms and sprouts and the boots... are perfect.
ReplyDeleteThose boots are made for walking or gardening
ReplyDeleteYes, Km ~ the camera can be a sweet garden companion! Of course, it can be a distraction too. Pretty consistent with most things in life, eh?
ReplyDeleteAnd yes, cheeky, they are! :)
oh yes, raspberry or mauve boots,,,, so fun. loved your poetic sharing of your realm
ReplyDeleteYour herbs look so lush & healthy. Makes me want more garden than just a balcony. Although I did start some seeds this year: black-eyed susan vine, cilantro, etc, which has scratched my gardening itch a little.
ReplyDeleteCheers!
