The return to the doodle has been suiting me well these days. Days busy with all manner of thinking and planning, considering and doing, dreaming and manifesting. I have a task at hand that I could have started last week, but I've put it off. Today I asked, as I placed the task unequivocally in my planner, and this
29Faces image in my journal, if I was hiding from it, or it from me. Today will know.
Peace.
Great picture. I have not blogged for some time. Maybe today is the day. :)
ReplyDeleteAnother super sketch! This one seems almost zentangley in a way with all of the detail. :)
ReplyDeleteFun sketch. You seem to be having lots of fun.:)That's a good thing.

Oh! Like this one. Hope your day is what you want it to be.
ReplyDeleteMystery. Is hiding a tactic of avoidance, or of enticement? There are veils that obscure and those that hint at what may lie on the other side.
ReplyDeleteI wonder if the analogy should be _membrane_ rather than veil. Veils, like doors and curtains, can simply be pushed open and aside; one can simply pass through. Membranes however are interactive, passing some things and not others, and often - very often - both the membrane and the thing passed are changed by the process. Passing through a veil or gateway is also a fairly discreet event in time, one side to the other. Passage through a membrane is a process not necessarily so delimited.
I don't know why I'm thinking about these things just now. Particularly as I should be doing other things for which I get paid.
You must stop dangling tasty bait in front of me, please.
Love the eyes and design.
ReplyDeleteVery nice! She looks as though she's up to something... I very much like it.
ReplyDeletedoodles are wonderfully fun
ReplyDeleteespecially when they pour out of you ~
I adore this one! Veils permit the wearer a level of control not usually offered in our day-to-day. Thank you for reminding of the power we each hold. Love and light!!
ReplyDeleteLove the veil!!! Is she hiding or watching ?
ReplyDeleteAre you the one hiding? You don't seem like that kind of person. Private, but not a "hider."
ReplyDeleteOh I love both your return to doodle faces, they are liberating & full of spontaneous energy - wonderful Rose :)
ReplyDeleteI thank you all so much for your comments on this doodle … and the potential symbolism. So much of what you all have shared was already in my cauldron of consideration (as I like to say) … but there are other hints and suggestions that surprise me, intrigue me, pull me in and challenge me ~ THANKS for those too!
ReplyDeleteI love her eyes!
