My mom gave me this little Halloween village several years ago and every October I am tickled as I set it up on my fireplace mantel ... and then enjoy its warm, welcoming and playful glow in these evenings of the thinning veils.
That is so awesome. My mom got me a Christmas village years ago and putting it up is one of my favorite parts of the season. I had never seen a Halloween village. But now that I know they exist? I will hunt one down. I want it!
Best wishes on your hunt Vixen. I've not seen one since, but then again - I'm not really much of a shopper. BTW, My mom also got me the Dickens Village for my Yule set up. So charming. :)
I love your Halloween Village, it's charming and the soft light looks very soothing.
ReplyDeletelove it.... I would have trouble putting it up only at halloween...
ReplyDeleteThank D - the lights are so subtle and just charming in the evening,
ReplyDeleteMother's - yeah ... I tend to extend the season and leave it up a bit after the holiday!
Nice village! it doesn't look scary at all. Instead it gives warm to my eyes. heheh...
ReplyDeleteI don't know, it looks a bit scary to me! But the fact it's lighted up makes it cozy and cheerful, too...I love soft glows of light at nighttime...
ReplyDeleteWhat a fantastic village. Moms can sometimes just find that perfect gift.
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad you're all enjoying this sweet little village - scary or not!
