Deference to December Dissonance

The winter holidays have never really resonated with me. Since I was little girl. These past two Decembers I've made conscious and concerted effort to heal the dissonance. Thus, these two recent heART journal entries.

All the same, I hope you enjoyed your holidays, no matter what and how you honor or celebrate.

Peace.

We all have our preferences for the different seasons and some of us love the winter one as well as the summer, spring and autumn. Hope you are enjoying the days now with the help of your art journal entries.
I couldn't find your email address, so thanks for your visit to Orange Esmeralda and yes, you are so right, it was such fun to make and photo-edit play with afterwards.

What a beautiful idea! The holidays are very different from usual times. I enjoy seeing friends and family, but I am also glad for the more calm times that are now here...

This time of year does hold its challenges. I try to embrace them and claim power over their twisted ways! In other words, I kick some holiday butt!

I love your journal pages.

I feel the 'dissonance' in your pages, well done. There was good and bad in my Christmas.

I love what Christmas stands for but hate all the hoopla. Nice entries.
