I made time to wander my gardens, to inhale the fragrance of life (and death), and to witness the absolute beauty of flawed perfection.
I made honor in play with watercolor (it still needs something more).
I received some silly inspiration for one of the creative beginnings that made manifest a few days back.
That's what I made today

The salad looks delicious - the flower is amazingly beautiful, and the watercolor... LOVE IT! :)
wow that looks REALLY tasty! :-p
Pure awesome.
Zucchini! It was the secret ingredient on iron chef last night, totally made me crave some and so does your pic! :)
Ahhhh what a lovely picture! I can just smell them now. :-)
My son and I were just talking tonight, about finding a small little cabin in the woods and living there with our cats. I miss the country.
Really pretty blog, will go look around more now.
Hugs,
Diana
I've enjoyed reading your blog. The flowers are beautiful, the veggies look great, your husband's leg is really tan! Thanks for an enjoyable read.
Thanks everyone!
Fresh summer squash and zucchini. YUM. Your dinner looks tasty!
I'm so hungry now. I eat zucchini & squash all the time and in many ways, but this looks absolutely scrumptous!

Hello Rosemari,
I have a wee pile of comfrey and am considering what to do with it, an oil, dried.... do you have any suggestions?
hugs,

Tammie -
If it's fresh, infuse the leaves it in an oil. It makes a really nice green skin oil.
If it's dry, save the leaves to drink as a nutritional tea. If you don't care for the taste, feed it to a hungry - it makes a GREAT "green Manure" fertilizer - whic is how it first made its way into my gardens!
If you speak of the root - be aware of the potential impacts of the liver toxic PAs before using it in any manner.
Hugs back atcha!
PS I LOVE your recent blog entry and I really do THANK YOU for sharing that hike with us all!
Thank you for your wonderful ideas. It is fresh, so in olive oil it will sit. I think I will have some more for tea infusions.
Thank you for your ongoing support and appreciation of my art, it touches my heart in a lovely way!
