Well, it depends upon the person really. Inspiration comes from the person's heart. It builds within that person so much that the person absolutely must create the item in question. Inspiration really can come from something so small as a dime, to mount everest. Really its what is in the person's heart to create and their lives. For me my inspiration comes from colors and every day life.
For me, inspiration comes from feeling a sense of oneness and wholeness with the outside world and my own consciousness. Everyone is beautiful, every experience a moment to enjoy.
I decided that it was not wisdom that enabled poets to write their poetry, but a kind of instinct or inspiration, such as you find in seers and prophets who deliver all their sublime messages without knowing in the least what they mean.

inspiration....sometimes it comes in fit's and giggles, sometimes it builds like the swell of a wave. It might jig, it might jag it might even disappear as fast as a bubble leaves it's wand....but I do know If I'm open to it...wide open big....it shows up in the most surprising places...and can turn anything into magic.

Inspirations is the quiet whisper that speaks to you in the space between sleep and wakefulness.
I find that Inspiration is made of the stuff of Life - the stuff of Nature, the stuff of Mystery. It is everywhere and in everything.
Even in the air I breath. Every inhale offers an inspired gift from the trees and all their green relatives. In my gratitude for that breath of life, I offer them theirs. Even in this most simple dance of Nature, this vital dance of carbon dioxide and oxygen, I find the stuff of of inspiration.
